Web Business | Business Website | Business Websites
The website
Once sufficiently understood the magnitude and importance of e-commerce as an instrument which not only facilitates trade but also helps improve customer relationships, you start assembling the elements required to potentiate the strategy.
The first step forward was the creation of a website or website, which is structured as a complementary tool for all actions marketers, which differs from the concepts of virtual enterprise or portal, as the website designed is based already established in the organization and even emerges as peak of the orientation of the company according to the customer.
Today has been achieved in the conformation of highly creative and dynamic tools that make the pages appealing, with the integration of formats link text, sound and images under a multimedia approach, drawing the attention of people accessing the same from search engines available on the net and released by the company itself.
This site should be consistent with the corporate image you have or you want to project, presenting to clients both internal and external customers responses to the consultations that advance, from intranet and extranet schemes respectively.
Of course access to the website is conditional and will be restricted to the use of password or access codes, to the extent necessary to prevent leakage of information which has the nature of confidentiality.
In addition, the design of data placed on the page will be conditional on providing minimum required by customers and organizations accessing the same, so the website will become feasible after the inclusion of links or links that expand and complement the themes, leading to other sites of interest, quickly and "friendly", i.e. easy to implement.
In fact, one of the strategies being implemented to attract the attention of customers, is to facilitate the location of relevant content for them, transcending institutional information and marketing issues presented by the company and located on topics pertaining to physical and mental health of individuals, their families and communities in general.

direct mail | direct mail advertising | email marketing
Marketing direct mail
Direct mail has been a means of promotion and sales that has been in use for some time. This involves sending a postal service envelope containing advertising, offers, company presentations or entertainment. The traditional concept has been using e-mail letters, without a clutch, we now have Internet and email.
How many times have we received a letter or invitation to an event which we had no idea that there was the sender?
Proposals to open bank accounts, invitations to exhibitions, new wholesalers, consumer choice, in short, a little of everything. The sale by direct mail was its golden age in the U.S. in the eighties. The precursor of this method of sale was the catalog. Stores like Sears have been very successful in the U.S. selling through catalogs. In the area of computing, Black Box is an example of catalog sales. For office supplies, Office Depot and Office Max are examples of catalog sales in Mexico. These sales still have their niche.
The direct mail order catalog was the evolution. When you send a letter, does so with the intention to communicate something. Direct mail is no exception. A communication consists of transmitter, receiver, message, medium, and feedback. A direct mail message must have the same components. To the extent that each component selected carefully and intelligently, his campaign will be more successful. For example, in a campaign: the issuer is the company or business unit that seeks to communicate the offer, the recipient is the customer who will receive that letter, the message is the letter itself, the medium is the paper or online, or artifice by which is sent and feedback is the answer that gives customers either purchase or interest. Finally, you must have a goal of communication. What you hope happens next to the campaign that is the goal.
The purpose of a direct mail campaign can be diverse: from selling any items, to report a change of address. It is the most important of all direct mail: the objective. If we are unclear where we're going, we can never get there. Once you define the goal, we must know also what impact will that campaign regarding the company's profits. If you start a direct mail campaign, it is important that the first thing to do is put your goal in black and white. Remember, your goal is to answer the questions of who, how, when, how, why, and where.
Within the target, you should know if you want a single shipment or a series of shipments. For example, if you want to notify your change of address, simply a single shipment. However, if you are looking to buy, or even more, to win permanent clients, a single shipment will not be enough. Should plan if first sent a letter to corporate presentation, after a relationship of business units or services provided by the company and finally an offer.
It seems clear that you are the issuer, however, is not so easy. Your company sends the letter but what does it communicate? If a change of address, the counter is likely to sign the letter, but if an offer, it is best that the firm who is commercial director. If your company is larger and managers of strategic business units must sign the letter, the manager of the unit that sends the promotion. If he wants to sell the new software 2001 for example, not included in the return a company presentation, and an offer of a laptop, and repair service contracts.
The receiver is the client or consumer. Remember that customer is buying the consumer product and service that uses or consumes the product. Your submission should be directed to the right person. If you send a letter addressed "To Whom It May Concern", you can be assured that more than half of the secretaries of people whom you want to read your submission, your letter will have thrown away before it even opened. The selection of the recipients of his letters is also important. For example, suppose you need to send design information to companies regarding a new program designed for PC's compatible. Proceeds to buy a database containing the names of people who are dedicated to design and use computers. After sending his campaign, is that nobody responds to your promotion. What is the reason? Could it be that most designers included on your list have a Mac instead of a PC, and if you would sell a PC program ...
The consistency of the database used, is one of the most important points. The databases of contact names should be updated contain information relevant to the selection of the subgroup to which the promotion will be sent. The more poorly segmented its database, the worse will result.
The message is everything you send in the envelope. Its design should be clear and direct, balanced text and graphics, to present the benefits rather than features. Your message should catch the attention of potential customers, and then drive them into a sense of urgency to answer and finally provide the answer. Tenders present, benefits, prices, etc., must be true, otherwise it will lose customers who won the campaign.
The medium is the document by which the communication is sent. Until a few years had been postal or courier service. Now we have email, the possibilities, I leave to your creativity ...
Finally; the feedback is that the client responds, directly or indirectly. For example, if you send a direct mail to notify a change of address, the fact that the client changes their data in your calendar or computer will be your feedback. On the other hand if you submit a bid, the fact that the client would call to ask for the item you are offering, this will be your feedback.

Internet Advertising | Internet Marketing Promotion | Advertising Site
Addressing this advertising is very effective, and relatively inexpensive. It uses a combination of several strategies, including pictures and reviews of related web pages, hyperlinks, newsgroups, e-mail announcements and so on.
The media are relying increasingly on electronic media for advertising, since they are easy to access and editing. A media campaign led by the Internet can save you time and money on a publicity department to eliminate the need for costly and laborious work.
Internet advertising is to banners, miniature displays, newsletters (newsletters, etc.)., Which are exposed to Internet users to use free search services, translation, email, chat rooms (chat rooms) and even free programs (Eudora-mail, Mecano 98, Acrobat Reader, Copernican, etc.)..
Many companies have addresses on the network; however, they are not forms of advertising but corporate image. Are the accesses to these pages and advertisements from companies that are truly public?

Send one, a hundred or several hundred thousand e-mails simultaneously is an activity that may be available to anyone who has an acceptable knowledge of how to do, and that's why many companies buy databases millions Address e-mail boxes for a few dollars, and then engage at close range to send messages without considering the consequences. This is what is called spamming or opt-out e-mail marketing and, in general, is frowned upon in the network.
On the other hand there is what is called permission marketing, which is to get permission from the user or client to periodically send you information via a mailing list, a forum, etc... This type of campaign is more effective because the user already knows us, and in some ways is predisposed to hear our message.

Opportunities Business | IT Business | Business Information
One of the things that has always attracted me to Network Marketing is the concept of 'residual income'. It's almost magical to think that you can be paid for several years for something that you do only once. While some people have a less than flattering opinion of Network Marketing and MLM, the reality is that many successful companies have employed this business model to create vast amounts of residual income. Businesses such as Cable, Internet and Satellite companies offer outrageous giveaways to get you to sign up because they know that once they have you as a customer, that they can earn residual income from you for many years to come. Most also offer incredible incentives for you to refer others to their business. Wouldn't it be great if we could do the same in our life by creating sources of income that are residual? Well partner, there are indeed companies that provide residual income opportunities, and many of these 'Internet based businesses' offer incredible opportunity at minimal cost. This article looks at one such business called 'Infinity Downline'.
All legitimate businesses provide products or services that have some perceived value by its clients or customers. While the value of any product or service is subjective to the individual, it must at least appeal to a certain number of people to become successful. The products that Infinity Downline provides are educational in nature and consist mainly of educational audios and videos that provide education and information on topics such as various aspects of Internet Marketing, business, health, education and many other topics. While this concept is not unique to this business, I found that the audios in the members area to be for the most part of high quality and informative. The video selection is mainly centered around Internet marketing and computer software basics. The only downside I found with the products is that the videos could stand to be updated more often, but all in all, there is a lot of valuable information to be found here, and my opinion well worth the small cost. In should also be mentioned that Infinity Downline has a second program aligned with the first which focuses on investment education but this is completely optional and is intended for those willing to spend a bit more for the opportunity to make a lot more.
Income Opportunity
One of the interesting aspects of Infinity Downline is its compensation plan. While virtually all Network Marketing and MLM businesses use some type of Matrix or downline structure, Infinity Downline uses a Reverse 2Up System. The way this works is that one, you receive $25 per member per month for each person that signs up under you excluding the 2nd and 4th person who rolls up to your sponsor. While at first this sounds as if you are giving away money to others for your efforts, the power of this lies in the fact that all other members you sign up will also have to give away two members to you, and their signups will also have to do the same. While it sounds rather complicated, the bottom line is that you can develop a significant income from the efforts of others if your are fortunate to have others that are as motivated as you. Another unique feature about the Infinity Downline program is that there are no administration fees and you therefore make your money back from your very first person.
Cost
With most business opportunities they usually wait until the end of their hyped up presentation before hitting you with what it's going to cost you to get involved with their 'can't miss' one of a kind business opportunity. Infinity Downline costs $25 a month to join, and has no other costs or required 'upgrades'. As mentioned, there is an optional $100 program which provides information and education on the Stock Market, Forex and other business related area's, but this is completely optional and there doesn't appear to be any pressure to join the related program. With no administration or business operations fee, 100% of the profits go back to the members, which is a novel approach to any Internet business that I've been a part of.
System and Support
This is the area where most Internet based businesses leave a lot to be desired. While most will boast of fantastic support and a system that practically does everything for you, the reality is that once you sign up, you're oftentimes left high and dry to figure things out on your own. I would have to say that this is one area where Infinity Downline excels. Inside their vast Member's area you'll find an unbelievable amount of marketing tools such as high quality Lead Capture Pages with responder systems, a vast array of low cost and premium marketing tools, webinar replays, even some offline tools such as postcards and phone broadcasting scripts. The point is, Infinity Downline has a superior Member's area that will allow people of all levels of expertise to grow their business.
Conclusion
While it pays to take heed to the tried and true maxim; "believe none of what you hear and only half of what you see", there are legitimate Internet based businesses that offer quality products and services, and also offers individuals the opportunity to earn a substantial income in the process. I believe that the Infinity Downline business model is one that is well designed, and created for the long haul. While the video on their homepage sounds a bit too much like a Billy Mays infomercial for my tastes, I am nevertheless impressed by the Infinity Downline business model and give it a hearty thumbs up.

Business Technology | Bussiness | Businesses
You have probably heard many times the expression: "let's level the playing ground." In small business the most consistently used technique for doing this is the installation and regular use of computers.
In fact, for many new businesses your first and only employee, at least for the first few years, is often your computer system and its wise use. Computer technology is one area where your largest competitors usually cannot gain a leg up on you. You can buy the same hardware as they can, often at discount prices, and chances are very good that you will learn how to use your computer software much more effectively than the typical corporate manager will.
We are in an advantageous time as far as acquiring computer power at very attractive prices. In the past four years, both IBM and Apple have introduced lower-priced computer systems through mass merchants, such as Sears. Competition from mail-order sellers, such as Dell and Gateway, has driven retail computer prices down as has rapidly changing technology. For example, it will soon be rare to find a computer system that does not offer a CD-ROM player. But there are still thousands of models sitting in stock without this feature.
If your daily business does not demand a CD-ROM player, and most do not, you may be able to get especially good pricing on slightly older systems without this feature. There is a growing amount of technical assistance for learning how to buy and use computer software. Many programs come with sophisticated tutorial programs built in. The larger software companies, such as Microsoft, even offer technical help on the Internet. One of the fastest growing business magazines of all times, Home Office Computing, is chock full of tips each month on how to evaluate software programs, hardware systems, and accessories. If you can read and learn, you will soon be as competent in the use of your computer as your Fortune 500 competitor.
What To Ask Before You Computerize
Buying a complete computer system with software and printer can easily cost you over $4,000. A purchase of this size demands some careful thinking before you proceed.
The first question to ask yourself is: Why? What advantage do you expect computer automation to provide? This makes no more sense than hiring an employee without first determining what tasks they will perform.
Remember: Computers alone do not increase your productivity. If you do not learn how to use what we call "computer leverage" you will gain little. This phrase indicates the power of the computer to do your daily tasks faster, more accurately and in some cases more individually than you can do manually. But it takes more than just a superficial knowledge of the software to achieve this advantage. A common example of computer power with a routine business task is storing different versions of sales letters, inserting the recipients name when you are ready to send them. Going a step further, you can use software to connect your customer name and address list with these sales letters to individualize both the opening and body of the letter. Using a technique called mail merge does this.
Jobs Computers Commonly Do
What do business owners use computers for? There are eight functional areas where desktop computers can make a real difference:
Communication. You cannot afford a secretary. So how does something as simple as a creating a reply letter to a sales prospect get done? Word processing programs, such as Microsoft Word, WordPerfect, and Ami Pro, permit you, who may not be able to type so well, to create a professional written presentation of your ideas.
Customer Service. In dealing with your customers, it pays to provide a personal touch, such as remembering their birthday, or even being able to remind them quickly what they last ordered. The electronic version of your filing cabinet is known as a database program. Sure, you can keep this information on file cards. But the tendency is to not update these cards as often as you should. Database programs also provide the information necessary to create labels when you wish to mail promotional literature to your customers.
Accounting. It is critical that you can tell your cash position at any given time. And it is often useful to know who you have been buying from and how often. Computerized accounting programs such as Quicken, Money, and Peachtree, organize all the financial details of your business. All you have to do is enter money earned and money spent just like you do in your checkbook register. These programs can also keep track of inventory, accounts receivable and employee records.
Advertising. Small business marketing requires that you be able to shift directions quickly with new pieces of promotional literature, a new Yellow Pages ad or an eye-catching new brochure. Desktop-publishing software permits you to design graphics, select type, space pages attractively, all from your desktop. It is like having your own printing plant!
•Managing Projects. When you run your business, you seem to go from project to project. Time management is essential to maximizing your output, particularly if you are the only employee. A new category of software, Personal Information Managers (PIMs), has come into the marketplace to help you organize your time. Programs such as Lotus Organizer and Borland's Sidekick act like electronic daytimers, providing the ability to print out customized schedules, to-do lists and reminders.
•Making Contacts. It is great to be able to connect to someone else when you have a question about your business or want to discuss a terrific new idea. Often the quickest way to do this today is via an on-line service, such as Compuserve, America Online or Prodigy. Compuserve and America Online feature small business bulletin boards where information can be quickly exchanged by typing it through your computer keyboard. Even the US Small Business Administration has gotten into the act with its free bulletin board: SBA Online.
•Sharing Information. In addition to talking to others on bulletin board services, you may wish to exchange a proposal you have created in your computer with an associate on The West Coast. This can be done almost at the speed of light by using a modem and its accompanying software to link your computer with a second computer via telephone lines. Modems can be programmed to transmit at night, long after you have left for the day or to send the same message to dozens of people simultaneously.
•Sales Presentations. If you worked in a typical large corporation in marketing, you probably remember the three or four weeks it took your promotion department to put together a professional slide show. With new software, such as Microsoft Power Point, Harvard Graphics and WordPerfect Presentations putting together an eye-catching slide presentation is surprisingly simple to do.
How to Get Started
Preparing to buy a computer is one area where it really pays to ask a lot of questions first. The wide variety of prices and features offered in the Sunday newspaper ads can be very confusing if you don't have some basic education first.
Probably the first question you want to ask is: Should I buy a MM or IBM-compatible computer or one from Apple Computer? There is no one operating characteristic that definitely separates these two, but instead these two types run software differently.
Basically, the Apple Maclntosh line controls the use of software through a series of pictures, called "icons." When you turn on the computer a master screen, called the desktop, shows you all of the programs loaded onto your computer. To turn any one of them on requires only that you click the mouse twice on top the symbol. It is very easy to move from one program to another.
Several years ago, in an attempt to make IBM-style computers as easy to use as Maclntosh's, a new program called Windows was introduced. You undoubtedly know that the latest version, Windows 95, was just rolled out.
I must admit a serious bias in favor of the Maclntosh. When I started my business seven years ago, I knew practically nothing about personal computers. And I have never liked to read instruction manuals. A former Apple employee, who made it sound like it ran itself, introduced me to the Maclntosh. Well, not quite, but pretty darn close. Rarely have I had to read much of the instruction manual in order to get the software to work.
I would suggest that you go to a competent neighborhood computer store that sells MMstyle computers and ask them to review the basic operating requirements. Then visit a Maclntosh dealer--one of the main ones in the Chicago area is Computize--and ask for the same analysis. Go home and think about what a typical day is like for you and how aggravating or not these main features are.
It should be noted that Apple has only a 10% share of the marketplace, so there are many more IBM-style computers out there. This means that the software variety available for MM types is much larger than for Maclntosh. Something to think about.
Once you have decided upon the type of computer--IBM-style or Apple--then you need to bone up on the key words used by sellers of computers. Go to a bookstore and ask for a good, basic computer text which describes the parts of a computer. Armed with this knowledge you are ready to go shopping! Just one word of advice, write down all of the features of each machine and the prices.
Mistakes to Avoid
• Don't do too much all at once. Try computerizing your word processing first and become comfortable with the basic keyboard commands before you try to install your accounting on computer.
•Don't forget that the computer is a tool, not a toy! Don't spend endless hours trying to make something work. Get a teacher to show you how or farm the work out to an outside contractor.
•Always buy the maximum speed and power you can afford.
•If you have employees, consider their personalities when buying a new system of new software. How quickly do they learn? Don't expect the impossible to happen!
•When hiring, make it very clear in the ad if the employee will mainly work with computers. Don't shock them later.
•Keep your computer clean.
•Always copy important files onto a disk at least once a week and put the disk in a safe place.
There are few opportunities in a small business to feel such an overwhelming sense of accomplishment as when you have gotten your desktop publishing program to print out an absolutely top-notch brochure for your business--all by yourself.

Starting Your Own | Catering Business | Business Own | Own Business | Starting Your Own Business
In Ancient Chinese medicine, green tea held a position of prominence and it is only in recent years that the Western world has discovered that this herbal remedy has great significance in maintaining the good health of the body. Modern medical treatments consist of many different chemicals and while they can cure one illness, they also cause damage to other parts of the body.
Although green tea does contain caffeine, it contains much less than coffee and regular black tea. This means that it won̢۪t cause the same effect with insomnia, nausea or frequent urination. The Chinese drank green tea mainly to give them relief from headaches and depression, but its medicinal effects are more far-reaching than these two medical conditions.
Some of the main benefits of making Green tea a regular part of your diet include:
the prevention and treatment of multiple sclerosis
It has been found to prevent cancer and is also used in the treatment in combination with chemotherapy
control of Alzheimer̢۪s Disease and Parkinson̢۪s Disease
reduction of thrombosis, which causes heart disease
the treatment of the immune system when it is not functioning normally
In weight loss, studies have shown that drinking green tea helps to curb the appetite much better than diet pills. It also helps to raise the metabolic rate of the body and this helps the body to burn fat at a much faster rate.
Research into green tea has also shown that it inhibits the development of cancer cells, which is why it has been touted as a preventative measure against different kinds of cancer, especially cancer of the esophagus. In oral care, it can also serve in a preventative way in preventing tooth decay because it destroys the bacteria that cause plaque buildup on the teeth. At the same time, it also helps to prevent bad breath.
If you are a smoker, you can reduce your health risk associated with the toxic chemicals in cigarettes by drinking green tea. In addition, you can replace some of your beauty aids with this drink by applying it to your face to give your skin a fresher look and to soothe the look of tiredness around your eyes. It has also proven to be an effective remedy for sunburn and as an antiseptic for minor scrapes and cuts.
Green tea is a natural source of antioxidants and has positive implications for almost every part of the body.

Business Finance | New Business | Starting Business
Business finance is usually the focal point if you’re considering starting your new business, expanding an existing business, or possibly simply the preservation of a reliable degree of business. Business loans are normally thought of as a destructive course of action by a business holder however if used correctly it may in fact be the lifeline of your business as well as the constant improvement and success.

Consumer Marketing | Business Marketing | Marketing Blog
When you market to businesses instead of straight to the consumer, you need to employ a marketing plan focused on business wants and needs, rather than the end-user.
Business marketing is the practice of marketing your products or services to other companies, who in turn, resell your products or services, use your products in conjunction with their own or use your products in their business operations. In contrast, consumer marketing is marketing directed toward the consumer, or the individual end-user.
Differences between Business Marketing and Consumer Marketing
The fundamentals of both types of marketing are essentially the same, but the issues faced can differ. All marketers select target markets and base their marketing decisions, such as price, type of promotion and distribution based on those target markets.
But the nature of business purchasing is influenced by multiple decision makers, professional buyers and the potential for long term relationships. Businesses generally focus more on a product’s functionality than anything else. Businesses also have the resources to purchase from international markets. This increased competition means your business marketing plan needs to appeal to a wider, and maybe foreign, audience. For example, if you print custom business cards, you should ask your business card printing company if they can print your card information in a different language on the back.
Also, business marketing focuses on logical decision making rather than emotional decision making. Many products that professional buyers purchase will be used at the office so it is harder to create any kind of emotional tie to the product. You need to make sure the purchase makes logical sense.
This logic could also mean that instead of spending lots of money with a traditional business card printing company, a business might go with an online business card printing company, because online business card printing companies can generally offer lower printing prices. It is more logical for a company to deal with an online company that can give them discounts when they know what they want, rather than paying a brick-and-mortar store to give them customer service. Try to make logical points rather than emotional ones when marketing to businesses.
Strategy Differences
Strategy in business marketing must take into account the supply and demand for a certain kind of product, the industry that you are a part of, the industry you are trying to sell to, and trends in the broader market environment. The strategy must also take into account not only your direct business clients, but your business clients’ customers. There’s another layer of customer to consider.
Business marketing also means you have fewer customers, but they are big businesses that require personalized marketing techniques. You might create different sets of custom business cards for each customer, tailoring the design to each customer. You may also have deeper relationships with these businesses because you will sell to them more often than you typically would in consumer marketing. Fostering good business relationships is key to longevity in business marketing.
The biggest strategy difference between the two types of marketing is touting the benefits for your business client, while also touting the benefits for your business client’s customer. Instead of only thinking about the end-user, you need to convey how your product will help the business client to help their customers.

Brand Marketing | Marketing Branding | Brand Equity | Management
Probably you have noticed that there are several companies competing for a single product. For instance, in athletic shoes alone, you will be able to count more than ten competitors. In the airline industry, there exist more than ten competitors in providing air travel services for travelers both inside and outside the United States.
How will you distinguish one competitor from another competitor? That is where branding comes into action. In fact, this is one of the important yet unappreciated aspects of Internet marketing.
Before you will be able to understand the goal of branding on Internet marketing, let us first discuss the branding on traditional conduct of business. It is an advertising method that is used to identify the products or services of a seller or a group of sellers and differentiate it from those of other sellers offering the same products or services. Establishing a brand for your own products or services will help you achieve the following:
• Deliver the message clearly to the public about your intention of marketing your products or services;
• Confirm your credibility as an independent and reputable seller;
• Motivates your buyer to patronize your products or services; and
• Build a concrete and loyal clientele base.
In other words, the goal of branding is to give your products or services its own identity apart from other sellers offering the same products or services. You will only succeed in the investment you are into if you have established yourself as an independent and reputable seller through branding.
What are the consequences of branding in your investment?
• The brand of your products or services will rest with the hearts and minds of your clients and potential customers. This will influence the way they patronize your products or services that may even result in the expansion of your clientele base.
• It is what the people will remember about you. For instance, you have branded your pet products as “Pet Lovers”. Once the brand is consistently patronized by the people, you will be able to achieve success and your products will certainly have an edge over unbranded products.
As previously mentioned, branding is one of the most important yet the most unappreciated aspects of Internet marketing, particularly in terms of web advertising. Since most advertising programs are focused on click-through rates (since it is the basis of earning through online-based affiliate programs), Internet marketers often neglect the important of branding in terms of Internet marketing. This is relatively unfortunate since the success of Internet marketing is also dependent on branding awareness. In other words, branding is essential in promoting the brand of the product or services of the affiliate. Without branding, there is no sense that the product or services you are endorsing will be popular to your clients.
Keep in mind that your goal here is to earn money and not to lose any penny. Thus, it would be better if you will invest on branding-based Internet marketing. It is easy to promote products and services that are already well-known to the public rather than unbranded ones.
However, you can also help building brand awareness of not well-known products or services that will help a lot in making your online advertising successful. Here are some of the strategies that you can use:
1. You may think of a brand name that will suit to the products or services of your clients. Such brand name must not be too formal yet too lousy to the eyes and ears of your clients. You may include interesting words that will produce the needed “twist” to the name of the product or service.
2. Since a brand is an intellectual property, you need to check with the Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) if the brand name is already taken by someone else. Once the selected brand name is still available, you will be able to apply for the registered patent of that brand name.
3. Once the patent has been approved, you need to consistently advertise the name so that it will gain popularity among potential clients. You may also suggest to the merchants that the brand name needs to be advertised through various affiliate programs over the net for more visibility.
Branding must not be taken for granted. It is one of the factors that will help you achieve success in Internet marketing. Keep it as your goal and stick with it along the course of your investment.

Direct Marketing | Direct Mail | Marketing
Learn About Direct Marketing
To really learn about direct marketing and how you can use it to better your business you should first understand what direct marketing is.
According to Wikipedia, direct marketing is defined as "a sub discipline of marketing focused to driving purchases that can be attributed to a specific call to action". This marketing discipline can include and medium that allows you to communicate directly with customers. Some examples of direct marketing include, direct mail, email, newspaper, radio, television, and of course the internet.
The main focus of any direct marketing strategy is to increase the number of customers that respond to your marketing campaign or "response rate" while also trying to decrease the cost of advertising. Increasing customer response to your advertising will accomplish two very important things. One, increase the number of sales leads generated by advertising, and two, further establish business name recognition.
The ability to properly communicate with your business's target audience is an extremely important factor in your overall business success. As you learn about direct marketing; keep in mind that persistence really does pay.
One of the most important aspects of designing a successful direct marketing campaign is in targeting your audience. Developing a marketing campaign that speaks directly to your potential customer's wants and needs will mean the difference between creating quality sales leads for your business and utter frustration at a lack of customer responsiveness.
Several important questions to answer when developing any direct marketing campaign are:
* Who..? Who are you targeting with your particular business message? Who are the people who would be most interested in hearing what you have to say?
* Why..? Do you just want people to review a few helpful products..or do you want them to retain your services?
* What...? What specific benefits are you offering through your message?
* When...? Are you looking for a more immediate response from your reader...or are you providing food for thought and building your relationship?
* Last but not least...How? How do you intend to present and distribute your message to your potential customers?
Your study of direct marketing will be an on going process. It's important to understand what works for you and your business, what doesn't, and why that is. The key to success will be in continuing to try different strategies and techniques in order to perfect a particular combination of things that work well for you.

Marketing Advertising | World Marketing | Advertising and Marketing
Philip Kotler, recognized worldwide as the world's foremost authority and "father" of modern marketing has always been an innovator and a visionary in this discipline that despite training in the old school has been able to highlight the importance of digital media and the need to evolve the traditional marketing and exploiting the advantages offered by new information technologies to segment and to generate actions of direct and immediate.
Gonzalo Iruzubieta, Director of Marketing and Communication in IAB SPAIN PuroMarketing an exclusive interview, he made reference to this important generational change where the main aim is to ensure that marketing managers of big business, despite having lived in an advertising culture different, understand that today is vital to devote part of their advertising to interactive media.
It is clear that advertising has given up the technology boom and the Internet has become a real phenomenon that has succeeded in changing the relationship with advertisers. Angel Riesgo, CEO DDB Madrid gives as examples what happened in the lead countries like England and the United States to realize that the Internet is essential in our present but still "can not forget the complementarily of other means."
Coinciding with the last statement in a recent interview with Kevin Roberts, worldwide CEO of advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi, while stressing currently experiencing the advertising market threatened by the global economic downturn, under his view and despite the aforementioned crisis, "advertisers will not be set aside traditional media to the detriment of digital media.
Ruben Igielko-Herrlich, founding partner of Propaganda GEM, a company specializing in the promotion of European products in the Hollywood film highlights trends and new consumer habits and how the Product Placement proliferated as a highly effective advertising formula.
Clearly the actions of Marketing and Advertising cannot be reduced solely to cover or "fill" slots. Also trademark strategies are an essential factor, which Gonzalo Brujo, Interbrand CEO and author of publications such as "The Glossary of Marks" knows perfectly highlighting the benefits of branding and marketing strategy for companies and brands.
Other disciplines that have proliferated all actions have been operating under the term coined as "Field Marketing. The last mile that connects marketers to the company with its brand, its product and the consumer. A communication tool that is responsible for transmitting messages from the brands "face to face and by Diego Olmedilla, CEO of Aplus Field Marketing agency, will occupy 40 percent of advertising budgets of many companies.

Payday Advance Online to the Rescue
Just when you thought your salary can now afford you the lifestyle you’ve long aspired to have, the emerging recession and dwindling purchasing power of the dollar suddenly bring realization that your paycheck is not making ends meet anymore. Not as it used to. Your credit cards are starting to fill-up to the limits and you find yourself just paying the minimum dues to get by. This is bad alright.
Incurring debt has always been a way of life in America. Just about every commercial transaction is done on credit. With the year-old credit crunch affecting America, its middle class being hit the most, having cash on hand can bring relief when you need to make a payment your credit can no longer absorb.
Your Last Recourse for Short Term fix
There are a lot of options you can take. Get a second part time job, perhaps a work-at-home job over the internet. You could cut back on your expenses, thus diluting the lifestyle you worked so hard to get - not entirely uncommon these days. But if none of these appeals to you at the moment, the one recourse left open is to have yourself some ready cash by getting Paday loans.
A payday advance can help you meet immediate maturing obligations or emergency funding needs that won’t wait until your next payday. That is the focus of this loan and it would be wise to look at it as a last recourse for a short-term release from a sudden budgetary constraint. Otherwise, you face the prospect of rolling over or renewing payday loans that will cost more in processing charges. You may be better off securing a longer-term regular loan with payments spread over a year or two if you think your budget problems can’t be addressed with advances online.
Fast and Easy Loans Online
Obtaining loans has never been easier and faster than with today’s online lenders. It is clear that there is a large market for online lenders as evidenced from the millions of return pages after a Google search on Payday Loans and cash Advances. Various online cash lenders offer appealing features and services to let middle class America accumulate debt as it has known for decades.
But as they say, easy is the road to perdition. It takes great discipline and sacrifice to make your loan, whether short or long-term to really work to your benefit. Payday advances are always an option for a quick-fix to unforeseen financial distress that can’t wait until next payday but can’t wait until then. This is about the only criteria for you to get a payday-advance-loans.
Using a Loan Wisely
Payday advances or loans should only be availed of during dire situations. They carry the highest cost of money due to their small amounts and short repayment periods. It’s really a short-term fix to tide one over some financial duress but it won’t be wise to repeatedly avail yourself of this facility to solve a chronic budgetary problem. And once your cash-advance-payday-loan is approved, it’s your responsibility that it is used as it was intended. GP

Online Payday Advance – ready to meet your need anytime
What is a payday advance?
It’s another term to call a payday loan. It’s a loan alright. It tides you over between two cash inflows. In this case, between paydays when you suddenly find yourself in the midst of financial distress to make ends meet before payday. You can avail yourself of one over the counter in some banks or if your company policy allows it, you can obtain a cash advance from your HR. Payday advances are basically backed by a sure income next payday. Needless to say, the payday proceeds cannot exceed what you normally expect to be your take home pay.
Over the Internet
Getting payday loans or advances has been a fixture of corporate America that it merited legislated industry regulation for the protection of both lender and borrower. Some states ban the practice or make it difficult for lenders to engage in them. But in the internet age, you can get around that since the internet is borderless. In fact, obtaining a short term cash advance over the internet is perhaps one of the best things that got commerced on the World Wide Web. Never has it been so easy and swift to apply for a loan. You can have your Paday loans deposited to your account in 24 hours from application.
Qualifying for an Advance
First you need to get your online application approved. Various online lenders have different qualification criteria. But a common thread across them can be discerned to include the following typical requirements:
o You have a stable employment or source of income. You may have to fax this to the online lender or scanned and attached to an email to them.
o Your monthly take home pay or income gets to at least $1000
o You have an active savings or checking account the lender can debit your loan value on maturity date.
o Your employer deposits your payroll to your account.
o You are at least 18 years old as well as a United States Citizen
These are basically the stand-out criteria for approving your payday loan application. Do surf the net to learn more about an online-cash-advance facility and the services provided by competing lenders out there.
Competition for Giving You Advances
The market for payday loans is so huge, Google returns around 8 million pages containing different lenders on the net. Most of the really good ones offer the following services or features:
* There’s same day processing and release of loan via direct deposit to you account of choice. This may depend on the time of application but you are almost assured of 24-hour processing with a release on the next business day. This also assumes your application has been approved. Documents to further substantiate your income source may need to be faxed to for online payday advances to get approved..
* “Faxless” processing is often touted but only if you can scan some required papers and attached in emails.
* Secure and confidential transaction over the internet.
* “Free” first time advances. That means you won’t get an interest charge on your first one-hour-cash-advance, but only a processing charge. GP

Strategic Marketing | Swot Analysis | Marketing Analysis | Planejamento Estrategico
Prior to assembly of a Marketing Plan, or marketers to take action is necessary to make a strategic analysis and here we show you how to produce it. A Here is how to undertake a strategic review to clever marketing ...
One definition says that "The strategy is the art and science of creating the future, managing the present, and selectively forget the past." Easy to say, hard to do, like any competitive business.
The strategic analysis includes external appearance and internal aspects.
The EXTERNAL ASPECTS include Area Business environment in which I move and Area Competition I'm facing:
BUSINESS AREA
• Demographic
• Economic
• Socio-Cultural
Here we must ask (and answer) such things as:
• What are the main features of the business area where it competes?
• What is the market size?
• What are my major competitors?
• How many buyers I believe that there are in this business?
• What is the average return?
• Are there changes in technology or the means of production?
• Is changing the tendency of customers to buy new products or more of other products they purchased to a lesser extent?
COMPETITION AREA
• Political and regulatory
• Technology
• Global
In this case, we must ask (and answer) such things as:
• Are there changes in legislation, prohibitions or requirements which can exploit or protect me?
• What is generating competitor or competitors or technological innovation is changing the way they market their products or services?
• Can I identify and predict those movements?
• Find Threats and Opportunities in the global market?
• How can I counteract or exploit them?
• Why is there a potential for a competitor to do better or worse than its competitors?
Internal aspects put us on the spectrum of things that I am able to do to leverage and / or protect myself from the possible consequences that detected after external review.
Here I put the focus on differentiating my business, products or services, serving a well-defined market segment where it can compete and grow successfully and if possible be unique (or one of the few) that satisfy the segment it points .
We ask ...
• Is the strategy working well today?
• Is the company competitive in costs and in turn profitable?
• How strong is the company's competitive position?
• What are my strengths and weaknesses?
• How can I be more profitable by improving my "value chain?
Finally, you probably already know the SWOT analysis. Some suggestions to make it truly effective:
• Draw conclusions
• Rate strengths, weaknesses, opportunities (O) and threats (A).
• Doing a SWOT Analysis of competitors

Business Strategic | Strategic Planning | Strategic Marketing | Strategies
The decision of internationalization, one of the first steps is to define which markets we want to run the business, strategic decision of great implication while highly complex, since the decision should be made taking into account the resources and capabilities firm, limiting its risk exposure see international.
In addition, companies must develop assumptions about factors such variables as costs and future prices, competitor reactions and technology.
Despite this series of difficulties, it is clear that any decision must take into account the following elements:
Market size: sales potential is perhaps more a factor that will have greater weight in decision making. Many times it is difficult to project which may be the sales volume for our products, some information that might help to predict this variable are: gross domestic product, per capita income growth rates, socio-economic segments, standard of living, level of industrialization etc...
Ease and consistency of operations: in general, companies are directed first to those countries they perceive are easier to operate. This perception is based on factors such as similar market conditions, like language, geographical proximity, etc...
However, we noted that one company cannot stay alone with this market category, but must make a deeper analysis of whether the market really is the best for the company.
Costs and availability of resources: the company needs to examine the costs of labor, raw material inputs, capital, taxes, transportation costs, tariffs in order to determine which is the country most indicated.
Risks: no doubt that the final decision should be taken not only considering the expected performance of exports, but also should consider the risk of exporting to a particular country. The degree of risk, control, commitment and profits depend on the type of entry strategy that chooses the enterprise:
Indirect Export
Direct Export
License
Franchise
Joint Venture
Direct investment
In general, it should consider three types of risks:
Competitive risk.
Currency risk and exchange rate.
Political risk.
These factors we have identified are critical to making decisions about we go to market. With the amount of information that we have today, most of these data is available to any company. Anyway, taking a decision on these issues is a very difficult issue that must be done carefully because it can significantly influence the final cost to obtain the company.
Doing market research is a task that involves investment of time and resources, why, first, we must study the economic feasibility and secondly, it will take a good pre-selection of markets to study only those represent a good opportunity for the company.
For the selection of a group of two or three potential markets macroeconomic factors should be considered in the target countries, general market factors, as well as cultural factors that may significantly influence the demand for our products and / or services.
After selection of this group of potential markets, they must pass to perform a detailed investigation of them.
The objectives of the research should be:
Identify demand
knowing the possibilities of access, penetration and conquest of foreign markets and their rules, requirements and procedures.
Knowing and tariff advantages granted by multilateral systems.
Schedule foreign marketing policy so that action plans directly lead to results.
Reconcile internal sales policy with the real possibilities offered by the markets.
The content of an international market research should cover the following items:
Research with the greatest potential demand (transportation costs, business wise, tariffs, market knowledge, etc.).
Research foreign environment (legal, competitive structure, economic climate, cultural factors, political factors)
Investigation of demand (consumer profiles, seasonality of demand, market size, market segments, demand forecasting)
Investigation of supply (positioning studies, market shares, distribution structures)
Determination of the entry strategy (indirect export, direct licensing, franchising, direct investment)
Investigation of the marketing mix

Agencies Advertising | Ad Agency | Advertsing
Finding an advertising agency can be an overwhelming task, especially if your company is facing several deadlines or a sales shortage. However, the following questions can help narrow down the search and find the right partner for you.
1. What is more important: creativity or short-term market share results?
Either way, it is the ad agency’s job to plan and create an ad campaign. This is when the brainstorming and planning begins, while keeping in mind the clients’ goals. It is the ad agency’s responsibility to push sales of products, services, or introduce new products into the market. It is important the chosen campaign reiterates the company’s brand benefits.
Your new ad agency should attract new customers and keep in touch with old ones; this includes creating interesting slogans, attractive jingles, and attention grabbing body copy for ads.
Businesses should not be based solely on creativity, so be sure to ask about their marketing and promotional skills, among other things.
2. Do we need to find an agency with a media buying capability or will we handle that separately?
If you are looking for a company with media buying capability, check into their formula for doing so. How do they investigate particular outlets? What kind of experience do they have?
3. Do we want to pay our agency a flat fee or a percent of our budget?
Budget is another factor to consider. In the first meeting with the agency, it is wise to discuss finances. Depending on the budget your company is looking at, price could make or break the situation.
Turnaround time is also something to consider. Now is the time to get a list of the agency’s former and current clients. How fast are they on projects? Are their add-on expenses later in the project? Are they worth their costs?
4. Is there a certain company we are after or is it a particular campaign?
Some agencies have areas of expertise. If you want a certain company to handle your advertising, be sure to research them thoroughly to ensure they’re going to accomplish your goals.
Maybe you already have an idea of the type of campaign that you’re looking for. Either way, when looking for an advertising company, it’s important to keep an open mind, so you can see many different options for old and new campaign ideas.
5. Which medium do we want our agency to handle?
If you come into the search knowing what particular media you need handled, the battle is half over. However, you may have to consider other options. Depending on the campaigns the agency will cover, you might look into new vehicles such as Internet advertising, pay-per-click management, TV, radio, cable TV, magazines, newspapers, billboards, and other outdoor advertising. Of course, the agency may offer a media recommendation in their proposal.
6. Does it matter if the agency we choose is conveniently located?
This question can be answered by considering a few things. How big is your company? You want to deal with an ad agency that is proportional to your business. Consider your goals. If your company needs to create a network of other businesses in the area or learn more about them, you might want to choose a local company. If your company is based online, however, the options could be endless as far as location. Consider the best way to meet—in person or over the phone? How well does the ad agency know your business or how well they are interested in knowing the business?
7. Do we need the agency to handle only current projects or new projects as well?
Keep in mind: customer loyalty is number one. Too many companies focus on new business rather than bolstering existing accounts. It costs more to acquire a new customer than it does to keep one. Always consider the ad agency’s flexibility to accommodate existing or additional projects. Are they willing to do both old and new? Can they fit the needs of your current campaigns?
8. How important is it to have regular access to the head of the agency we choose?
Find out how the agency will be tracking the results of the marketing campaign they create. How often will you be advised? Online or offline, reports or both?
9. Do we want an agency with a certain philosophy or an agency that is willing to work with the philosophy of its clients?
The agency must understand your product and company. An ad agency begins by getting well acquainted with the clients’ goals, products, and target audience. This knowledge proves beneficial in planning and creating an effective ad campaign.
Ask yourself: does it understand our company’s objectives? Does it address those objectives?
10. Who do we want to be in charge?
It is very important to know if you can work together with a potential ad agency. The better you understand each other’s goals, the easier it will be to work together and complete projects in a pleasant manner.

Advertising Jobs | Online Advertising | Best Advertising
Advertising Careers And Jobs
Advertising jobs vary depending on the kind of company you’ll be working for. There are a lot of online advertising jobs now that require a very different style of thinking and creativity. Many of these jobs will have you doing something very tedious, like sending out one email after another, while you work your way up the ranks. Then, there are many innovative advertising companies that will have you working from home, with your own hours, but doing certain projects that need to be completed by the end of the week. I have a few friends in this business. They go to work, at home, and simply work on specific projects for the companies. They’re given weekly assignments and have to complete them by the end of the week. My best friend’s girlfriend works for an online marketing company -- she explained what she did for them, but I can’t remember at the moment. It had something to do with online ads.
Online ads have opened up a completely new market for advertising. Now you only have a matter of a few seconds to catch people’s attention. Online, you can see which ads seem to do the best. They’re the ones you see over and over again. The online dating sites have managed to make good use of online advertising. I’m sure you’ve seen the ads I’m talking about. If you go onto MySpace, you’ll see all kinds of dating site ads. They usually consist of a good-looking guy or girl who’s chatting online. You see a short video clip of a girl being cutesy as she chats with a guy online, or you see a video clip of a guy doing something masculine and attractive while he responds to that girl. These advertisements must be working, because they’ve been around for a long time. If you see an advertisement for more than a year, it means that advertisement has been successful in driving new traffic to the site.
I’ve dabbled a little with online marketing. I’ve made a few ads and posted them on MySpace and Facebook. I’ve had more success with Facebook, partly because they have a structured format that doesn’t allow for much graphic design work. They don’t allow videos in their advertising, yet, so even people with little or no budget can post an ad on Facebook. It’s all about a simple image and a few lines. That’s all you have to work with when you’re trying to catch people’s attention and drive them to your site. It’s worked for me in bringing a few hundred new fans to my music sites.
Because of the DIY market (the do it yourself market), there are many jobs in advertising that are closing. There are fewer openings due to the fact that people are taking advertising into their own hands. They feel like they can test the water again and again, using cheap online advertising, until they figure out a good solid method that’ll work for them. However, large companies will still be interested in hiring an advertising team to take the reigns of advertising. So major ad firms will still be hiring and looking for new and innovative ideas.
Online marketing has changed the industry completely. There are still plenty of ad campaigns that involve print ads for billboards and TV commercials, however, these are slowly disappearing and becoming a thing of the past. People are beginning to ignore all those ads, or fast forward past them with their DVR. So it’s all about product placement and online marketing, these days.
Product placement might not have quite as many job openings due to the fact that it’s a very simple campaign. It’s all about matching the right product to the right, well, product. Your job is to connect two products together. If a film has a need for an actor to be holding a soft drink, then it’s in the soft drink company’s best interest to sponsor the film with the drink, and pay for advertising. So people will be hired to take care of that transaction and approach different companies to see who would be interested in sponsoring the film. Beyond that, there’s not much room for creative ad campaigning in product placement. It’s a simple connection, and you’re the liaison.
No matter what changes take place in today’s industries, there will always be a need for advertising to help earn exposure for new products and services. Whenever people create new products or introduce new services to the world, they’ll need the world to know about it. So they’ll look for advertising to help them out in this respect. They’ll need someone who can come up with a new and innovative way to use what’s available, and create a great ad campaign. So if you’re interested in advertising jobs, you might want to look into all the different kinds of products being introduced in the market today and think about what you’d do to promote them. If you have a good enough idea, you might be able to pitch it to them and get hired because of it. Sometimes it doesn’t matter where you come from or how much schooling you have; if you know what you’re doing and have a great idea, you might get the job anyway.

Advertising | Advertise | Advertisers
Advertising is the most important factor that decides if your online or offline business will succeed or crash and burn. If you do not have an advertising budget you may think you are in a world of hurt, however, there is a way you can advertise and it will only cost you time. The answer is free classified ads.
Classified ad websites provide you with a fast way of getting your products or services in front of potential customers. These ads are accessible 24 hours per day, seven days a week, and allow customers from all over the world to see your ad. This is a very successful way to advertising, of course, some websites charge for ads, but many do not charge a dime for you to place your ads on their classified ad website. In most cases, these classified ad websites do not charge any type of fess including monthly fees, sales fees, or placement fees. You can actually place your ad without paying any fees at all. Why is this so important? Well, you can add your company, product, or service to several internet classified ad websites without spending any money at all. This means you will be getting free advertising! Some websites even allow you to place your ad more than once as long as you place the ad under different categories, thus even more exposure.
This is one of the fastest and possibly efficient ways to get your products or services in front of potential customers around the world. According to your product or service, you may be able to serve international customers just as well as ones in your country, so why not use the internet to reach these international customers. Can you imagine trying to place an ad in a foreign newspaper or put a commercial on their television? It would certainly be easier to place a classified ad online.
In order to find the best classified ads, you should first search for free classified ads in your country and then expand to other countries you wish to reach. Pay attention to the features of the free classified ad websites you choose, you may find ones that offer you to add a photo, or other cool features.
Several individuals search for classified ad websites when they are seeking specific items or services. When someone sees your ad, you will begin to see more traffic and thus more sales. Classified ad websites allow you to target customers that are actually searching for your product or service, which is so much better than a late night commercial that may not be noticed at all or a newspaper ad buried with all the other merchandise ads.

Most businesses only have one stream of income, and that one is barely paying the bills."I think 65 percent of the businesses today are sliding on thin ice.
The rest of them, in my opinion, are sliding on thin ice with knee pads on . Having said that, as a business owner, I do know what it takes to thrive in business, whether you want to admit it or not, most businesses are not cutting the muster
So, if you are determined to make it in this economy and grow your business like you did in the early 90's, these tips should come in quite handy."
"In my opinion, all these clones out there are eventually going to burn themselves out. Stink-n think-n almost never generates the same level of success as an optimistic innovator.
The key to making it through in tough times is to take a trend, sprinkle up-to-date revolutionary marketing strategies... Voila...a new and improved outcome. You do not want to make the same mistakes other businesses have made. You want to always be on the look out for creative cutting edge advertising ideas.
Advertising is a critical component to running a successful business."
This article is going to share three of my top tips for growing your business in one of the most economically turbulent times in history."
This is the perfect time to identify low-cost advertising options?
3 Power Tips you can Learn from the Fortune 500 Companies... These three discoveries are the same tactics Fortune 500 Companies are employing:
1. Big businesses has lost control: we all have heard of companies that just don't get it. They seem to be working backwards. By the time most of them come up with a new plan it is normally too late. Well not anymore, big businesses are spending less money on bigger ideas.
What am I speaking about; you have companies like IE. Candies, Nike, and American Eagle employing online strategies and other internet techniques to boost sales.
2. Companies are gaining more momentum. I was shocked when I first noticed the advertisements on Craigslist looking for mom and pop bloggers. Educated, uneducated, anybody with online advertising skills, that could assist them with their marketing campaign.
Companies are getting so savvy now, they are even allowing you to work from home. Businesses are recognizing that they do not have to spend a lot to get a lot.
3. Advertorial; my husband is a avid reader of the newspapers. And he is always showing me a story that is supposed to be a human interest story. However, 99.9 percent of the time it is a under-cover ad. Advertisements are being disguised. Companies are getting slick.
Check out commercials, they hardly ever just come right out and tell you what they are about anymore. There you have it, what can you learn from Fortune 500 companies? Think Big Spend Small...
With the implementation of the internet, the sky is the limit. The companies that are optimistic and innovative will be the ones still standing after the smoke clears.
Grab your entrepreneurial thinking helmet and get in the game.
Thousands of businesses are closing their doors everyday. Many businesses are just down right refusing to try anything different. Others are just down right afraid of the internet. Something I remember hearing while playing cards; scared money never wins.
Since 65 percent of businesses are failing, that is no reason for your to follow their mistake.
Educate yourself about free online advertising ides, and be one of the few still standing in 2012.

Business information | All business | Business blog
By advertising in other newsletters, you can reach an audience which is highly targeted and cost effective. Moreover, you can never be accused of spamming as all the recipients have subscribed to the newsletter. There are so many newsletters out there covering so many different topics that it's easy to find highly targeted ones to advertise in. So if you've matched the newsletter to the product you're selling, you've reached your target audience to a tee.
Almost all newsletters are archived, thousands of people read these archives, and your ad will be seen by these people at no extra cost. This can bring in exposure and extra sales on a long term basis. Besides, newsletter publishers may have already developed a trust between themselves and their readers. Just by placing your ad in the newsletter, it's more likely to be read because it appears in a publication they like and trust.
Newsletter advertising is not only effective, it's cheap as well. A 5 line ad in a newsletter that goes to 3000 people will cost you between $5 and $25 per issue. With so little risk involved, this is definitely worth it.
Buying Ads in Other Newsletters
Just as you can sell advertising, you can also buy advertising in newsletters. You can use those ads to promote your business or to invite people who read newsletters to read your own.
Again, you have to pick your partners carefully. There’s no point just picking a newsletter with the cheapest rates; you want to make sure you choose an outlet that appeals to the same buyers as you. You also need to think about where your ad is going to be placed. In general, the higher the position the better. And the more the merrier too. Don’t expect a huge response from a single ad. It’s always best to think of advertising in terms of a campaign. You’ll get a better deal—and better results—if you reserve an advertising slot for four or five issues than if you buy them one at a time.
That’s it for this week. I hope you found this article useful. Until next time…take care of yourself.
